DFW Improved received a phone call from representatives at Angie’s List to inform the company that it had received Super Service Awards in seven categories for 2009. These honors are awarded only to companies that receive the most member reports where members graded a company with all A’s in a given service category. Angie’s List was thrilled to deliver the news, mentioning that no other contractor in the DFW area had ever won as many awards in any year since the list’s inception. The news is a true testament to the importance that DFW Improved puts on providing only the highest level of service to its clients and provides further proof of the turnkey, full service capabilities of the company.

DFW Improved moved into new offices in Frisco’s Downtown District today. The move marks a very exciting time for the company. The move was made because 2009 was another significant growth year for the company and more office space became necessary for the growing team. The new space is double the size of the facility previously utilized to operate the business and space has been reserved for a design center where clients will be able to select products for use in their specific projects. The seamless, hands-on experience this will create for clients will allow the company to provide an even higher level of service. In addition to more space to better serve clients, the move also serves to strengthen a tie with long-time strategic partner Sound Perfection. This will allow DFW Improved to provide home automation, home audio, media rooms and home security services better and faster than ever.

DFW Improved is pleased to announce that the company has volunteered its time and expertise to serve the team at the North Collin County Habitat for Humanity organization. After meeting representatives of Habitat for Humanity at a McKinney Chamber of Commerce event, the team visited the offices that the organization is working out of in downtown McKinney. The company immediately identified an opportunity to use its resources to provide the local Habitat for Humanity team with a better place for employees and volunteers to carry out the mission of the organization. Given that it is the end of the year and the economy is down, major progress is not expected to be made until early 2010. However, DFW Improved is committed to doing everything it can to help provide better facilities for the local team at Habitat for Humanity. If you have any interest in helping with this project in any way, contact us. Expect to hear news on this topic in 2010.
